Pitkin, 1968, American Camellia Yearbook, p.122: As the name implies Scentsation has sweet fragrance; it is large and a silvery pink peony form. Blooms early to mid-season. The plant is upright, compact and vigorous. Originated by Nuccio's Nurseries, Altadena, California, USA.
