Historic Camellias Congress - Italy

Venue

Villa Rusconi Clerici  www.villarusconiclerici.it/en-en/home features one of the nicest collections of ancient camellias in Northern Italy, that is also reported in Hillebrand’s and Bertolazzi’s book on Antique Camellias. It is located at the beginning of pedestrian area of Pallanza, just in front of the Isolino San Giovanni the fourth and smallest of Borromeo Islands. Count Francesco Rusconi Clerici is also a passionate of camellias. The perfect location of Villa Rusconi and the layout of Pallanza enables most visits without boarding buses.

How to get to Pallanza

Pallanza can be reached by train from Milan or Northern Europe. From Malpensa Airport, Alibus reaches Pallanza with the following time table

Accommodation

Many hotels in Pallanza are along the lakeside, at a walking distance from Villa Rusconi Clerici and from the embarcadero to Isola Madre. We suggest to book hotels on Internet through Agoda.com or Booking.com etc. Hotels closer to Villa Rusconi Clerici include Villa Azalea, Hotel Acqua Dolce, Hotel San Gottardo, Hotel Belvedere, Hotel Novara,  Grand Hotel Majestic, Hotel Pallanza.  

Language ; Chinese and Japanese Interpreters

The language of the workshop will be English. However, we will provide a Chinese speaking guide to our Chinese guests. On the confirmation, we will also provide a Japanese interpreter.

Fee

It includes meals and transportation during the conference. Transportation from the airport to Pallanza and vice versa is not included. Hotels shall be booked and paid by delegates. The exact amount has to be defined and it will range about 250 euro.
