Join Us!

The International Camellia Society is a charity with members around the world who all share a love of everything 'Camellia'.

Joining is not just about education, science, new varieties, preservation of old varieties, it's about friendships as well.

Why join?

We are a truly international community and our members frequently find that ICS visitors from outside their own area become lifelong friends, even if they're only able to meet at our bi-annual congress!

Each year, you'll receive a 100+ page journal, with masses of interesting articles about camellias, some scientific, some basic and some just interesting.

How to become a member?

1. Sign up, this gives you a “pending” account.
2. We'll send you a verification email with a special link.
3. Click on the link in that email, this makes your account "active".
4. You can pay online via PayPal, that will give you a 1-year membership. You're now a “Member”.
5. Alternatively, you can contact the ICS Membership Representative in your region, whom you can pay directly and they will make you a Member.

Membership

Fees are to be paid within the year as follows.

Please note:

• The above fees are applicable since 2023 and show the expected remittance from the ICS regions + Applicable local surcharges, which can vary per country. Kindly verify these for your region/country, looking at the Membership Representative's information here.
• For life memberships the current membership fees are not relevant and these members continue receiving a printed version of the Journal
• The membership fee should be paid by March, every year.

Joining mid-year

If you join between January and June, your membership will be for the current year, whereas if you join between July and December your membership will include the following year as well.
