For a great friend

On November 24th, 2018 Waldemar Max Hansen quietly passed away. He has been a key member of ICS. He served as Director for Germany and Vice President for Europe; at Nantes Congress, in 2018, he was awarded the President's Metal. No ICS member has been more international than him; he made us discover camellias in countries (like Brazil) we ignored and enlarged our horizons. He visited camellia parks and forests throughout the world: South Africa, China, Japan, Azores, USA, South America, Australia, and almost all countries in Europe. We have been honored of being your friend, dear Max.
