ICS Benelux Agenda for 2019

From February 8th till February 13th 

Camellia Garden Tour in Portugal.

March 23rd and 24th

Tuinieren in de schaduw. Botanische tuinen, Budapestlaan 17, Utrecht.

Plant days with lectures, workshops and guided tours in the Botanical Garden of Utrecht.

ICS Benelux will be present to provide information about Camellias.

March 29th – March 31st

Exposition: Camellia, de roos zonder doornen. Rivierenhof, Turnhoutsebaan Deurne.

Friday, March 29th – 16h

Official opening of the exposition by Mrs. Pilar Vela Fernández, Vice-President ICS.

Invitation only.

Saturday, March 30th (open from 10am – 5pm)

  • 10h: Multiplying Camellias, by the gardening team of the Provincial Domain Het Leen.
  • 13h: Camellia sasanqua : a camellia with fragrance, flowering in Autumn and early Winter, by Cor Van Gelderen / Esveld Nursery (Boskoop, NL).
  • 15h: Victoria Antwerpiensis and other Belgian Camellias : a rich history. by Marc De Coninck.

 

Sunday, March 31th (open from 10am – 5pm)

  • 10h: Guided walk in Het Rivierenhof, followed by a demonstration on how to make your own tea, by Mrs. Anne Adams / Tea by Me.
  • 13h: How do we keep our camellias healthy? by Wytze Hoekstra.
  • 15h: Higo, the camellia of the Samoerai, by Hugo Dirks

 

April 14th

Plant day: Arboretum Kalmthout Heuvel 8, Kalmthout.

The longest existing plant sales in Belgium, where ICS-Benelux will also be present.

Entry: € 8.50

November 2nd

Member reunion - place and time to be confirmed.
